Entertainment Industry Brief This Week - Kilmer, The Studio, LA Film

Val Kilmer Passes - Val Kilmer wasn’t an indie creator per se, but he had that spirit for sure. He was an LA legend and made appearances in many LA-based films. For kids of the 90s, he was the epitome of cool - an outsider in the Hollywood system, like many of us dreamed to be. And, his Entourage cameo still sticks with us!

Solution For LA Shoots - The plan includes reducing “onerous regulations and permitting” as well other “unnecessary fees, inconsistent safety requirements.” (via Deadline)

The Studio Takes The Town - As The Studio on Apple TV is all the chatter in chatty Hollywood, we’ve gotten through a couple episodes. Worth a watch for dreaming-to-be industry creators.
